The CTC Gas Bar Series 9 Coupons introduced in 1985 were a continuation of the CTC-8's but with the updated signatures of Douglas Heuman and Dean Groussman. This was the final issue of the Gas Bar coupons, ultimately replaced in the Gas Bars by Store series coupons.

These coupons were redeemable only at Canadian Tire stores.

Replacement coupons were printed with the exact same serial number as the coupon they replaced and can be identified by a Plain prefix in the Large Serif range [4,755,000 - 8,454,999] (often referred to as out-of-range coupons).

There is no plate date on these coupons.
