(1962-1969) The GB1 coupons are printed on regular BOND PAPER. The denomination is printed in Grey or in Black. The border is plaid around a YELLOW panel. The signature is Sandy McTire. The printer is CTC. The serial numbers are printed in RED on the front and contain a one letter prefix. The back may either show a LARGE SEAL underprint or be CLEAR.
